Not feeling worthy
to approach any altar
I slip in unobserved,
but by Thee

Dear Father,
hear my cry
forgive my sin
give Mercy,
mercy,
one
more
time.

My heart lifts
like a dove
released
from a cage
with Power’s
freedom flurry
through morning
light windows
rising upward,
heavenward
secured by
Thy love.
