Falling Short

by Ashley Andrews

Holiness kin, with hearts so pure,
Believing my soul is not secure.
But scripture reminds we all fall short,
And grace abounds, a loving cohort.

For all have sinned,” Romans declares,
Yet Christ’s sacrifice takes our cares.
No condemnation for those in Him,
My salvation secure, not dim.

So let us love, and not judge or condemn,
For Christ’s love covers all our sin.
Let friends and kin see grace’s light,
And rejoice in Christ, oh what a sight.
