Andrew McDowell
Andrew McDowell became interested in writing at age 11, and by the time he was 13, he knew he wanted to be a writer. He is the author of the epic fantasy novel Mystical Greenwood. He has also written and published short stories, poetry, and creative nonfiction. Andrew studied at St. Mary’s College and the University of Maryland, College Park. He is a member of the Maryland Writers’ Association. He was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome, an autism spectrum disorder, when he was 14.
